Learning is an integral part of everything we do
The playful approach to learning used in the school program at LEGO House has been developed through decades of collaboration between the LEGO Foundation and some of the world's leading researchers in creativity, play and learning. In LEGO House, we have developed a school program based on the five characteristics that characterize playful learning, respectively: Joy, Meaning, Active participation, Repetition and Social interaction. In LEGO brick language, this means that we in LEGO House are based on a holistic approach based on five competencies, namely the physical, creative, cognitive, social and emotional competence. The lessons are based on one of the above, but draw parallels to the remaining competencies. All lessons are also based on common objectives for the danish primary school.
It is important that the LEGO House school program can be offered to as school students as possible. Therefore, the LEGO Foundation makes a financial contribution to the school visit to the LEGO House.
